Position Overview:
Hennion & Walsh is searching for an experienced Mutual Fund internal wholesaler to work out of the Parsippany, NJ headquarters. The primary role of the Internal Wholesaler is to partner with external wholesaler(s) and other staff to build strong selling relationships with Financial Professionals. This person will support experienced external wholesaler(s) in raising assets in three, revolutionary "Fund of ETFs" mutual funds that came to market in June 2007. The position reports into the National Sales Director.
Position Description:
• Partner with external wholesaler(s) to build sales.
• Developing relationships with Financial Professionals through outbound calls.
• Respond to inbound product and sales calls.
• Work with external wholesaler(s) to establish an effective advisor meeting schedule.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with individual investment advisors while providing sales support and service to wholesaler(s) in the field.
• Provide superior service and contact investment advisors with updates pertaining to the mutual funds they sell, assist in handling inbound calls and prospect for new business.
• Help investment advisors increase their business by updating them on current marketing materials and informing them of upcoming webinars/seminars in their area.
• Communicate with Financial Professionals through letters and email.
• Handle special projects as assigned within desk.
• Attend sales meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain a PC based contact management system.
• Participate in sales idea roundtable discussions and feedback sessions.
• Act as Project leader for department initiatives where implementation and follow-through will be expected.
• Relay a positive attitude about department initiatives and stand behind decisions of management.

Requirements:
Ideal Qualifications and Experience:
• Financial industry knowledge with mutual funds
• Minimum 2 years of financial services related experience
• Internal sales desk support service experience preferred
• Strong capital markets knowledge
• Strong customer relationship management and servicing skills
• Strong verbal communications skills and the ability to present effectively
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management and organizational skills
• Enthusiastic and results oriented, with the ability to prioritize work in a fast paced environment
• Bachelor''''s degree
• NASD Series 6 or 7 & 63 or 66 license preferred
