Investor Communications - Filings & Publishing New York, NY TIAA-CREF is seeking a professional to handle our Investor Communications for the required SEC Filings and Publishing needs of the Mutual Funds and Variable Annuities offerings. The right individual will serve as the liaison between Law, Accounting, Business units, Vendors and in-house team members. Position is fast-paced and is located in NY. Responsibilities: - Manage a range of investor communications such as the annual/semiannual reports, prospectuses, statements of additional information, supplements, and other Asset Management publications.
- Willingness to understand financial data including performance data used in the annual/semiannual reports
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn about SEC regulatory EDGAR delivery and filing requirements
- Develop, update, and report project schedules for all phases of project
- Confirm projects have been properly reviewed, approved, and adhere to current Compliance standards
- Identify, log, and manage project risk and issues
- Ensure that deliverables are on time, within budget, and meet defined expectations. Escalate issues that cannot be resolved within the project team.
- Manage project timelines from concept, implementation to successful completion.
- Act as liaison and conduit for all project team members, and manage their expectations.
- Assess the impact of any proposed changes to the scope of the project.
- Monitor and facilitate regular meetings and communications including project reporting (each week) and metrics for stakeholders.
Requirements: - A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in project management, including accountability for multiple projects
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Advanced knowledge of Excel a must
- Strong print production knowledge, financial printing knowledge a plus.
- Ability to develop and manage budgets for assigned projects and handle multiple tasks under significant time constraints
- Strong relationship management skills
- Ability to work in matrix organization
- Good oral, written and proofreading skills are essential
- Detail oriented with an ability to think strategically
- Able to work both independently and as a team member
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines
- Ability to be flexible and respond appropriately to changing priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to learn the content management systems used by TIAA-CREF to create regulatory documents.
